Our ISA Personnel
Profile of an ISA English Teacher
Presently, two types of Professionals teach our English classes.
1. Local educators - nationals living in the community, formally trained with certificates and degrees in English as a Second Language; and
2. Volunteers (friends of education) - who love teaching
and have the ability to effectively communicate and help others.
ISA maintains a list of highly qualified college-aged individuals and young-at-heart adults interested in teaching English for extended periods of time.
Teacher and Field Representative recommendations to ISA come solely from our current Field Representatives, Board members and/ or Executive Committee who are completely familiar with an individual's teaching skills and collaborative abilities and who are determined to be able to enhance and extend our ISA English language program which is free to the local community in their part of the world. ISA maintains a list of recommended teacher resumes that have been reviewed by our Executive Committee.
